REGISTRATION OF VOLUNTARY SOCIAL WELFARE AGENCIES UNDER THE VOLUNTARY SOCIAL WELFARE AGENCIES (REGISTRATION & CONTROL ORDINANCE. 1996.

This booklet contains guide lines for the Registration of Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies in the Province of Sindh . It has been compiled to enable the Social Workers to agencies understand the procedure and requirements for registration of local, provincial and national agencies under the Law.

Under the provisions of this ordinance every Voluntary Social Welfare Agency established by person of their own free will for the purpose of rendering welfare services in any one or more of the field mentioned below, depending for its resources on public subscription, donations or Government aid, must get registered irrespective of the fact that it

FIELDS OF SERVICES:

(i) Child Welfare.

(ii) Youth Welfare.

(iii) Women's welfare.

(iv) Welfare of phonically and mentally handicapped.

(v) Family Planning.

(vi) Recreational programmes (indoor outdoor)

(vii) Social Education.

(viii) Welfare and Rehabilitation of released prisoners.

(ix) Welfare of socially handicapped.

(x) Welfare of juvenile delinquents.

(xi) Welfare of Beggars and Destitute.

(xii) Welfare and Rehabilitation of patents.

(xiii) Welfare of the aged and infirm.

(xiv) Training in Social Work.

(xv) Co-ordination of Social Welfare Agencies.
